ButtonIn 2013 at Wings & Wheels, Dick Cole, Tom Casey and Chuck Leonard were enjoying Larry Kelley's 1939 Cadillac. They were celebrating Dick Cole's 98th birthday. Dick Cole was in town to talk to Sussex County middle school and high school kids at our Pathways to Aviation program. Every year since, our DAMF family gathers in our hanger during Wings & Wheels to toast our good friend, Dick Cole, and all the Doolittle Tokyo Raiders.

The 101 year old veteran served on a B-17 as a waist gunner with the 532nd squadron of the 381st Bomb Group. Sgt. ButtonHere's an oldie but goodie! This is the 70th anniversary celebration for the Doolittle Raiders, organized by Larry Kelley, in 2012. This was one of the largest gatherings of B-25's in recent times.
ButtonWe had a special visitor to our museum. This is 95 year old Bill Cecil with Charlie Quandt. Bill worked at the Ercoupe factory in the late 40's, painting wings. He may have painted our Ercoupe!
ButtonWe had an extra-special passenger during one of our flights at the Reading Air Show. This is Quentin Stambaugh speaking with Larry Kelley. Quentin is a 100 year old WWII veteran who flew as a tail gunner in B-25's as part of the "Air Apaches" group. He climbed into Panchito like he was 20 years old!
